Popcorn Thief Guide
Popcorn Thief turns a simple hold action into a stop-and-start stealth problem.
Play Popcorn ThiefHow the game works
Popcorn Thief turns a simple hold action into a stop-and-start stealth problem. Quby reaches for popcorn only while the input is held; the attempt becomes unsafe when the neighboring coworker looks away from the monitor. Progress comes from reading that attention cycle and releasing before the character is caught. Greed matters because a longer hold may collect more popcorn but also leaves less time to react.
Controls
On desktop, hold Space or hold the left mouse button to reach for popcorn, then release to pull back. On mobile, press and hold the on-screen control and release before the hand is caught.
Practical tips
- Begin with short holds until the coworker's look-back rhythm becomes familiar.
- Release as soon as the warning movement starts instead of waiting for a full turn.
- Several safe bites are better than one long attempt that resets the run.
Before you start
On desktop, hold Space or the left mouse button. Touch controls use the same press-and-hold action.
